Simple Cake, Amazing Flavor


None of these are the best picture because it was getting very late and I took them outside. But, this was a cute cake and my girls made the flowers for on it.


The cake itself was a white cake with seedless raspberry jam for a filling. The icing is just sweetened whipped cream and then it has shredded coconut over it all. This is a very light cake and it tastes a lot like a "zinger" snake cake. It is delicious.



The flowers are made by taking a square of tissue paper and folding it up, accordion style. Then you take a pipe cleaner and twist it around the middle and start spreading the petals outward. They are really fun to make and even young kids can do it.

I'm not going to post a recipe for this cake, because there really isn't one. All you need is a white cake, seedless raspberry jam, sweetened whipped cream (or cool whip) and some shredded coconut. It is simple and SO GOOD.
