It Started With Good Intentions.....

As you may know, we had a pumpkin themed week last week. I made several recipes and I tried to include a couple recipes that I was unfamiliar with that were savory. One was a complete success and the other was .......not.
It had a very high rating on a recipe website, but I'm not sure how. If you follow the recipe exactly, which I did, it turns out dry, smells like Thanksgiving stuffing and has a rather odd taste that I never could put my finger on.
 I'll put the link up for the recipe, if you are a very brave soul and wish to try it. If you make it and add something to it that makes it miraculously edible, please come back and leave you additions/substitutions in the comments, would you please?
