I generally don't have recipes fail on me. I have a large enough social circle that I always have a really great recipe that has been made and tweaked and changed and perfected. I have one of those recipes for Bear Claws and I chose not to use it because I found one that looked easier. Now, two days, four hours and 38 minutes later I am at my wits end with a bad recipe. I give up.
I am sorry to disappoint anyone out there. I will revisit bear claws and I will give you my recipe. Sure, it takes a little more effort. Sure, it's a little more time consuming. Sure, it's a special recipe that I don't make often enough. But that isn't because it's too hard. It's because I have 1,000,000,000 other recipes that I am trying, experimenting with, perfecting. Perfecting so that no one has to look online and find a recipe that is not going to work for you and make you feel like maybe you can't cook after all.
Now that I have admitted defeat, I'm going to go eat lunch and forget that this ever happened.
I'll meet you back here tomorrow with some hints to make your Holiday breakfast easier. And I promise that these are things I have done before. I KNOW they work.
