Memorial Weekend Recipes

Ranch Cheddar Burgers, Homemade Hamburger Buns and Our Favorite Pasta Salad

We don't have a lot of days that I try to make "special", but Memorial Day is one of them. We usually cook out, but if the rain we are having keeps it up, I don't see that happening this year! Because Memorial day is literally JUST around the corner, I thought I would give a you a few of my recipes that are perfect for a cook-out, or any day of the week, that my family loves.

The picture above is of Ranch Cheddar Burgers, Homemade Burger Buns and My Very Own Pasta Salad. I make these burger buns or I make these Pretzel Rolls into larger buns for burgers every time we have hamburgers. Making the buns is simple and the flavor is so good!

How about some really, really great Coleslaw? The kind that tastes like it came from a popular fried chicken fast food restaurant ? Yeah, I have a recipe for that too :) Knock-Off KFC Coleslaw

Now, no cook-out for us would be complete without some kind of baked beans. I happen to have what my family thinks is the best, from scratch, baked bean recipe of all time. Of ALL TIME I tell ya- you know that's got to be good. Campfire Baked Beans fit the bill every time.

Simple baked beans, all from scratch!
Now, we should round out the meal with some dessert, eh? I have several suggestions for you!

Simple and delicious!

Butterfinger Poke Cake is always a hit and just happens to be my most pinned recipe on Pinterest!

Cherry Brownie Trifle  is delicious! It's simple to make and oh-so-good!

Banana Split Ice Cream Pie is a great choice if it's going to be warm or you just want to make something a little different.

Minty Grasshopper Pie is minty and cool and chocolate-y and wonderful. Always a hit.

and lastly, how about considering this easy Caramel Apple Cheesecake? It's as tasty as it is lovely.
