How pretty is that? Not only was it so incredibly pretty, it was also really delicious, easy and fun to boot! But I knew it would be because I got the recipe from some of the greatest nicest people ever, my friends over at Lucky Leaf.
Let's get down to business here. The Lucky Leaf gang sent me some pie filling, a pop ice mold and 4 recipes to try out. I probably should have restrained myself and made more than one recipe for this post but those mold looked seriously fun and I couldn't wait to use them.
Ready to sink into 3 ingredient bliss? Want to make your kids happy and not make a huge mess in the kitchen? Maybe you'd like to look like a superstar in the kitchen without doing anything really complicated. I've got you covered. You are not going to believe how quick these go together, in a flash you'll be sinking your teeth into the kind of frosty goodness you dream about. If you haven't been able to tell yet, this is a most glowing review :)
Frozen Pie Pops
1/2 21-oz can Lucky Leaf premium pie filling (I used Blueberry, SO good!)
1 cup milk
1/2 lemon, squeezed
Mix all ingredients in your blender until smooth and pour into ice pop molds. Freeze. Serve as ice pops.
I TOLD you it was simple and they are so very delicious. Now, you all know that we have a big family, so I doubled this recipe and filled all the ice pop molds I have. I got 20 Ppopsicle, but you may get more or less depending on size and shape of your molds. Or, you can make the 1/2 recipe and not end up with a freezer full of pop ice molds. That would be cool too ;)
Now, you want to know a secret? Well come here! Lean in close and let me whisper it to you......
