The mouths of babes

Spew some nasty words around here. My girls can cuss a man to shame. Not that I am proud of that, mind you, but they can really bring it. The part that amazes me is their ability to use such horrible, nasty vulgarity in such perfect context. I have the hardest time not laughing when I hear them use swear words in casual conversation. For example Kay was driving the tractor the other day and I asked her if it was fun. She said "Yeah it was fun, I was driving the hell outta it!" Or there is the famous "Get your hands off my !@#$%&* barbie!!" That one was my middle kid. She puts a sailor to shame. I'm not sure why I felt compelled to share this with you all today, it certainly doesn't make my parenting look all that stellar. I just know that every little kid says bad words, and while you may not burst out in laughter like I do, or are halfway proud that they can use them correctly we all have stories like this. So, I say it's ok, have a chuckle. At least you know they listen to you at least some of the time!

  1. That's funny you should post that. Just the other day KZA told KBA that he better knock that off or she was going to kick is a$$... You know so first off I had to stop laughing then I had to tell her that we don't use that word.. But is still laugh about it.. Kids know when to use and how to use it perfectly..
