KayCee-isms

It's springtime here and that means just one thing: roadkill in mass quantity. We were driving to the big city about a week ago when KayCee spotted something on the side of the road. "Daddy", she screached from the backseat, "was that just a MONKEY smashed back there?!" Kevin just laughed and told her no, that was a raccoon. Then a couple days ago she went to the dump with Kevin and she spied something else. "Daddy, why was that so red and meaty looking?" Again, Kevin just laughed and told her because it was a skunk that had gotten smashed. She usually is so worried about any animals safety that I'm kind of amazed at her fascination with dead stuff. But, I guess everyone has to have something that interests them. So what if it's blood and guts right? RIGHT?! It's totally normal. I hope.
