Winter Wonderland

We woke up to a powder sugar dusting of snow this morning. You know the kind I mean, where the snow is delicately sprinkled on the trees and houses. Very pretty. Now it is snowing off and on and the weather reports call for it to snow through today and into tomorrow. We aren't expected to get any accumulation, so we just get to enjoy seeing it fall. I love snow. I love to watch it fall and marvel in its pristine beauty. I do not like to drive in it much, but being at home when it snows is one of my most favorite things. You can turn off the tv and almost take yourself back in time. I sit in my house (which was built in the late teens or early twenties) and wonder how many other women paused in their daily tasks to look out this window at the snow. Did the love it or hate it? It is a magical thing for me. I eventually have to move away from the window and go about my chores, but for that brief moment I am taken back to a different time. Enough daydreaming, it's back to the real world for me! Happy Tuesday!!!
