Sometimes I wonder why we even bother

A couple weeks ago we took the kids to Wildlife Safari. They had a blast! We drove around the first time and they were soooo excited to see the animals. They thought it was hilarious when an emu pecked our car. I thought they were going to lose it when a camel put his head in the window. When we drove past the hippo it was actually out of the water and they loved that too. We went into the walk in park and looked at all the little animals. They have some new exhibits that were pretty neat. So, after all that excitement the kids were starving. I had packed a picnic lunch at the kids' request, they would rather have my food than to buy some the little wierdos. All in all it was a great family day and we had such a good time. When we finally got home we were sitting around in the yard and I asked the girls what their favorite animals were. KayCee said she liked the hoot owls and the hippo. When I asked Lainee the same question she just looked at me and said "What animals?"
