Poor things

Yesterday the girls were all playing outside in the glorious sunshine when the door burst open and they all started yelling at once. I got them all calmed down so I could get one of them to tell me what was so exciting. They started yelling again but this time they were yelling "SNOW!!!" I looked out at the cloudless sky and told them there was no way it was snowing and they said it is!! it is!! Then I saw it. Our neighbors have a big flowering tree in their yard, a big WHITE flowering tree. There was a gentle breeze blowing the petals off the tree and my poor kids thought it was snowflakes. They really need to get out more.
