love/hate relationship

Spring. I love it. It's just warm enough to spend a lot of time outside. Yardwork is fun, deciding on garden plantings is very enjoyable and the kids stretching their legs after the long winter is a welcome change for everyone. The days are longer and we get more done, which is nice because we usually don't have a lot of time in our lives right now. But, Spring has an ugly side. A sinister, nasty, ugly little secret that rears it's head. ANTS. I hate the little turds. I like to call them names, it makes me feel better. Why do they have to invade my house year after year? Nothing stops them, they just keep on keepin on. Oh how I hate them. Hate them on the counters, floors, EVERYWHERE!! So this year we are fixin those nasty lil bastards. We are tearing off the back of our house and killing them all. BWAHAHAHA. The best part of it all is that I get to get rid of the ants and gain a new bedroom and remodel our bathroom. It really is a win-win for me. The ants? I really couldn't care, I hope they suffer.
